    Keperra.

If I had to choose from the list I would go Keperra. For me, 2 bedroom homes/units are not for a Brissy market. .

Would struggle to buy too much under $500k in Keppera or Chermside at the moment. From experience right now, "offers from" means add 5%. Salisbury cannot see too many not under offer sub-500k now either. Most of those areas you would want to check flooding, often the cheapies are for a good reason.

Rocklea be very wary on flood zones and check each property extremely carefully. I helped clean up in the floods in that area, and most of the area was well, foobared.

Are you talking houses or units? Massive oversupply of units in Chermside in the near future IMO.

Keperra for sure, 9km from the city, has a train station and definitely has lots of potential for CG. Surrounded by very desirable suburbs and you can still get a house for under 500k

Like all of those except Rocklea, not sure why most are listed as 2 bedrooms? Houses would be preferable in all of these locations. I like Salisbury and Keperra from a value for money and distance from the CBD perspective. Chermside might have already moved a little price wise.

I missed this one, but I would also say Keperra for sure.

My thoughts on Brisbane - why limit yourself to 10km? Lots of good stuff happening in the train corridors about 20-25km from CBD...Otherwise if 10km is a must Cooparoo, Moorooka, Wavell Heights and Stafford/Stafford Heights.

SA - within 10km I would add Thebarton, Torrensville or even out into Charles Sturt LGA and the suburb of Seaton and surrounds :)

I hadn't seen this - but any idea how they determine 'best'??? Without seeing the full article/numbers - seems fairly subjective? Certainly wouldn't be rushing to spend $360k-$450k in any of those locations.

Wavell heights. Leafy. Quiet. Safe. Hardly any units but close to Chermside and Nundah precincts. Good size blocks. Has at least 3 nice unique suburban cafes. Popular with families.

If priced out of wavell heights, have a look at Stafford/Stafford Heights.

Can still pick up something $450-$500k in keperra. Might need a little bit of work. Stafford and Stafford heights would have to be very lucky or on a main road.

I would think due to Rocklea being a flood-prone area. IIRC A lot of Rocklea was under in the last floods.

Ah I see, hence the price lower.
    Thanks @mitchwho

Rocklea is yucky, lots of industrial and it's floody.
