Arundel Springs

Hi guys

I'm very new to property investment and need the help here.

I'm looking at buying a townhouse (3 bedrooms, double garage, 2.5 bathrooms/toilet) in Arundel Springs.
The price tag is $540k. Builder/Developer: VillaWorld.

Any thoughts?

If for investment;
Why new?
Why a townhouse?

 

I was told that on new house I can claim tax deductions on depreciation.
Townhouse because in this area if brand new the price is higher.

 

And buying for deductions is good because?

give me $1 and i’ll give you 50 cents back. As much as you want.

Budget:$400k +

 

Something old, if a unit a small block (no more than 3 floors, brick 6 pack) or an old house on land.

you want to at least do some research for yourself? Australia is a big place.

 

Avoid Coomera, Arundel etc and all those rubbish suburbs in North GC.. full of Bogan Kiwis etc. Have a look at the southern GC..
