I haven't heard from @TerryN in ages - I take it that he's head down bum up laying bricks in the bush or feet up sinking a few coldies.
Hello Franc, you're right mate. I've been wandering all around the place and haven't been following the site for a good while. I'm having a couple of spare days at the moment though as we have had some ordinary weather here and around the district, with snow falling all around the hills. But I have gotten the occasional drawing done and will post a couple on the site later.Regards Terry.
Hello Marisa,I haven't been on the site for quite a while but have done the occassional drawing here and there in between been very busy in the building game.I hope all went well with your various projects and life is treating you well.Warm regards Terry.
Well done Marisa.I knew he was a Spaniel.I just used graphite pencils in those two drawings. I've done a couple of others of Marilyn but liked the photo of her that I did this drawing from,as she looked very "real" and wasn't in the usual sexy, pouting, pose that she often was in.
Not art in itself but about art ... Came across these two awesome books while looking for some French reading material ... They are Art dictionaries, the one about Abstract art was printed in Paris in 1957 and the one About Modern Art was printed in Paris but in 1954. They are both in brilliant condition considering the age!
Tried my hand at some painting for the very first time. Had an image I liked and painted similar with a few variations freehand. Acrylic paint. 18 by 24 inches. Will be more aware of a few things next time round.
I did pencil drawing when I was younger, silly me, didn't keep them, lost when moving out of parents' home... Audrey Hepburn is my idol, loved her autobiography! Thank you for sharing!
I have many... Funny Face, Sabrina, Roman Holiday, My Fair Lady, How to Steal a Million, Breakfast at Tiffany's. She had quite a challenging personal life too.
