‹2mm wide? Probably just a little shrinkage or settlement.

If it continues to move, get it checked out. Otherwise flexible filler, jointing tape & paint

Right now, not serious. But to avoid further cracking, you better get them filled with paint.

White silicon. It's a trim covering a bigger gap in the materials above it.

Paint won’t stop the cracking - or even the appearance of cracking.

It’s the flexible filler that does this - i.e. moves with the crack.

Just check that the filler you use can be painted over - important if the area is likely to be painted in a colour that is not the ‘bright white’ colour of this silicone.

This is the front part and always gonna be painted white-ish

So your recommendation is not get get bright white?

No, I was suggesting getting a non shrinking filler that can be painted over. If you don’t need to paint it, then no problem.
