    Probably a bit of a fluffy post, fee free to delete. Just curious though whether you are all friends? Do you know each other in real life? Did you choose to do it or were you dobbed into the job somehow?

    Mods are appointed by me - usually based on the recommendation of the other mods.

    I have met some of the mods - but not all of them.

    I've met @Simon Hampel once, the same with another couple of the mods.

    I used to go to Sydney gatherings occasionally, and sometimes Sydney people came to Canberra. But I haven't been to a Sydney gathering for quite a few years now, and Canberra gatherings have not been successful in recent years.

    What’s the hourly rate? How many weeks paid leave?:p
    What’s the criteria for applicants? Stay out of trouble, avoid all threads discussing politics and religion? Respond to stupid questions politely..

    Some people are passionate about the community and are willing to contribute to its well-being.

    Which is exactly why people who ask to be mods are considered ineligible!

    Mods are considered based on contribution and personality.
