    There is an option in your settings that will turn them back on - that's what I have to use so I can see them :D

    I hope my wife wasn't using my computer to check out what's on at the Opera House! (She takes the kids to Babies Proms and other events occasionally)

    to be honest I haven't really ever paid attention to the ads, selective seeing I guess lol

    It's called "banner blindness" - the more you visit the site, the less likely you are to click on the adverts because you subconsciously block them out as less important than the content you are wanting to read.

    I have actually noticed them more since reading this thread but actually paid attention to the ads more from the thread then I did when they came up lol.

    I was on my phone today reading a post on here... Then there seemed to be some auto play video advertisement that made lots of noise. Has this happened to anyone else?

    You know that ads are targeted based on what cookies you have (and by extension, what sites you've visited recently), right?

    yeah, i visited the alibaba express website ill admit it. it was close to the search field but took the more risque' path with the ads!
