    Hi,

Last week the ANZ CEO of New Zealand, David Hisco, wrote an article saying he wants heavily increased LVR limits for property investors (David Hisco: Housing and NZ dollar over-cooked - Business - NZ Herald News). I find this highly surprising coming from a bank!

Do you think ANZ is likely to advocate for such a policy in Australia, or will it be limited to New Zealand? Why?

    I appreciate any thoughts.

The NZ market is much smaller than Australia. There is no stamp duty (I think) and no CGT so it is relatively easy to get into property there. that could be pushing up prices.
