    market doesn't have to follow anyone's predictions, and predictions do not follow the market, simply because the market (and the future in general) is not calculable by its nature, regardless of education/experience level of predictors.

    Tell that to marketers. Marketers love statistics. They love analysing data. Sure, even marketers stuff up sometimes but they have data to prove that too! The think that marketers really love though is analysing consumer behaviour. Slightly unpredictable certainly, completely, err...no.
