ANZ is definitely one of my preferred.
Lol .... NAB easier to write a self employed with trusts all over the place .. than dealing with an IO renewal

Just aside note I just got a letter from ANZ that the break free annual fee is up $20 to $395 now. They justified it by saying you can now get one of the points cards fees waived.

I've had clients who have not activated the card/cancelled it post settlement. Then next time you want to do any changes, ANZ then requests the card be reissued and activated for them to proceed. I'm not sure in that case if you remove card, whether the discount will remain after the first year or if they don't bother checking you still meet all criteria.

@albanga I got the same letter. Pain in the neck.

Keep in mind though, this increase brings it in line with the other majors and it's been cheaper for at least 15 years now.

If you are good with money it can be beneficial.

You also get the advantage of 30-60 days interest free on the credit card. I put a lot of my expenses on the credit card and just have an extra month of saving interest on my offset.

I just got my IO period extended with ANZ on the PPOR and was in and out within 5 mins and got it extended for 5 years.

    Obviously a non LMI deal.

    LMI: Full application
No LMI paid: tick and flick - easy as it gets.

Correct originally setup as an 80 LVR, being Melbourne the value went up but the loan still the same ;)
