I think it adds to it. All action can be too much sometimes.

Went along to see MR HOLMES Today it's a mystery,Ian McKellen plays MR-HOLMES ,,quite different from Jeremy Brett who played Sherlock in 41 episodes in the Granada tv series but this is a classic..

    Pink Panther, Peter Seller

Am going to revisit some of Hitchcock's classics next, never really enough of this stuff.

There was a lot coming out from the AMY-WINEHOUSE movie yesterday and some looked upset but I have been told some of the music remixed is excellent, next one is Last Cab To Darwin..

I got addicted to the Jeremy Brett version a few years ago, he was the best Sherlock Holmes for sure.

I watched "Hot wet American Summer" last night. I barely got through it, even with my stupid cult movie mindset on.

    Watched:

    - Insidious 3
    - Cop Car
    - We Are Still Here
    - We Are Blood

    All decent watches.

Re-watched Sinister a few weeks ago, which is a great movie. In preparation for Sinister 2, which I am looking forward to.

I found Spy to be way funnier than I probably should have :) could have just been a stressful week and needed the silliness, but in any case, found it hilarious.

Haven't seen as many movies as I would like to recently, but the stand out from the last few years would be The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Kicking myself for not seeing it at the cinema, I recommend watching it on the best possible setup you can - it benefits from a massive screen and awesome audio.

    Cheers,
    Inertia
    - missed out on the midnight screening, but I'll be watching Star Wars at 9am at IMAX.

I really like his Sherlock, but possibly like Benedict Cumerbach better. I did find the styling and plots a little annoying on the Benedict one though.

Yes, love it too. The book is excellent as well.
Has anyone mentioned Starred Up yet? Excellent!
Also Babadook worth a look or two. Thriller.
And another great one I watched this week but can't remember the name . Has Robert De Niro, Animal Farm Aussie mum, and 2 younger actors who I don't know about a guy who gets out of rehab and wants to get back with his wife. Not as corny as it it could be. Edit: Silver Linings
If you want to get creeped out, can't go past Snowtown. Very, very good.

Yes, another favourite to be watched again and again. Saw another doco a few weeks back about K2 and the huge losses in just 1 or 2 days. Quite sad actually.
Edit: ok has been mentioned a couple of times already - The Summit.

I thought he was excellent in Good Will Hunting. Great movie. Good performance by the late Robin Williams too.
