Anyone know what floorboards are these?

    Hi,

    we’ve recently decided to sand and polish our floorboards and noticed some are damaged.

    Looking to repair some of the floorboards we have but can’t work out what they are especially since there are two kind, anyone has any suggestion?

    Where are you located? Often the floors in older houses were built with species that were available locally? It could possibly be kauri pine but I'm not 100%.

    Beautiful floors and the condition looks generally pretty good - lucky you!

    I'd ask a couple of floor sanders (maybe email the photos). They should know what they are.

    Or email some timber suppliers?
