I need a new one - the current one is a hand me down leather one and I hate it. It's cold and too slippery.

Anyone got a recommendation? It has to be modern, super comfy and not leather.

Not sure of budget yet but am ready for something quality.

when you find out can you let me know?

We have a standard joke in our house, how many lounges this year? we change them like underwear because we get it wrong all the time. I have given away so many lounge suits its not funny.

    MTR:)

@MTR - thinking of going to look at King in Nedlands. Quite like the look and the flexibility of the Jasper but need to sit on it to see. http://www.kingliving.com.au

Looked at Jasper - really like it
Ended up going something from Plush, over 1/2 the price
Couldn't justify the price of the King in the end
Spent the savings on a higher end bed instead.

Since you have young kids, can save yourself a few grand and buy a couch cover for under 100

We bought this a few months ago:

Delle 3 Piece Leather Recliner Lounge Suite

I know you said you don't want leather so these things are made to order, you can probably get them to do a fabric one. I can vouch for the comfort and design, it comes apart where you can remove the back from the bottom making it REALLY easy to get in to and out of a house :).

I bought Jasper for two lounges, I went for the black leather with an extra chair, all up cost was $24k. It looks great, is super comfortable. With it just being me I doubt I will have to ever buy another one.

Wow - I hadn't actually looked at the price  I might wait until the kids are out of the house before I invest that in a couch!

    Check out the Neo...we got 2 x 3 seaters

    And the Plaza..1 x 3 seater and 1 x 2 seater

    Felix ottoman

    Neo is more comfy.

    Love King Living :)...

They have a 'sale' every quarter...almost funny

One we'd love to buy is The Felix Bed..it is automated so can be used as a sofa or a single bed. $2500 in sale when we saw it first

King are supposed to be brilliant but you do need to wait for a sale to not have to sell a kidney.

Nick Scali is having an up to 50% off sale at the moment and their couches are nice and family friendly. If you want a sectional/modular then my current favourite that I'm checking out for new house is the - but it's leather. Maxim http://services.nickscali.com.au/assets/Modular_pos/MAXIM.pdf

Lounges & Sofas | Nick Scali Furniture

In fabric and super modern I like the Bambino BAMBINO - Lounges | Nick Scali Furniture

I'd stay away from Harvey Norman......thought it's wayyyy over priced for what they offer

We've been going to a local timber shop here for desks and beds for the last 6 years...custom made!
