They'll be OK but imagine being confined to an internal cabin for two weeks.

Going to Cook Islands in Mid March and Europe in June . All booked .

The situation will be resolved one way or the other before we go .

Probably wouldn't book OS holiday at the moment if they weren't already booked pending clarification of the situation .

I expect to be going .

Having holiday in October . Will book closer to the time . might be some good deals around ....

4 people in the one cabin and can't get out of it for 2 weeks, it would feel like jail.... Ps. I've cruised on the Diamond Princess, I think it was for a NZ cruise....

My wife and I have already booked treks, flights and accommodation involving East Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore and Thailand between mid Feb to mid March. We have also bought additional insurance for higher altitude activities, so we are committed to go unless the official travel site, Smart Traveller advises otherwise.

We are stocking on antiseptic wipes, antiseptic spray, surgical masks (N95 if possible) and the wife will bring along sanitary gloves. We intend to modify our habits to minimise hand-to-face contact and to maintain distance from people. When overseas we will also steer clear of the poorer areas.

Hopefully, the significant containment and quarantine measures globally will start producing measurable slow down in the progress of the sickness in a week or two.

Well in most of these countries, wearing a mask will mean blending in with the crowd:)

Has anyone seen any travel insurance available that covers coronavirus - perhaps with a premium on top of the normal cover?

In the process of planning a trip for April. Travel Insurance that provides some form of cover would really be best (would like to head to Japan).

Most expert said mask is more about your stop spreading the disease than protecting you from getting it
beside eyes is a channel it can get in as well now so unless you cover off your whole face off I wouldn't worry about wearing a mask, just good clean hand wash
