    Hi

I'm keen to chat with any town planners or similar who have had clients or experiences with councils in relation to overland flow paths and negotiating with council to enable a garage enclosure or partial enclosure so as to still meet the requirements for an overland flow path...

    Cheers

It depends on the nature and possible intensity of the flow
I've done one in a similar situation
Need to make two sides openable (eg roller door front and back - depends on direction of flow, all power points 300mm above anticipated depth of flooding..
Can be done, but requires a little head bshing and negotiation

    Hi Keentolearn77

We have done a couple over the years.
    Tufan has explained it well.

It is negotiation with the relevant authorities. Doors front and rear and sometimes closure restrictors on the said doors to allow some flow.
