    Hi,

I am looking to start in property development, however, I need to raise equity for land purchase and the build. I am quite new to this and wanted to know if there are any recommended specialist property development financial brokers or an organization that would be able to assist me in getting started - also is this the correct 'body' i am looking for? Or should I be looking for a different type of lending service that can assist me through the process?

    many thanks,
    Nick

Can you be a bit more specific about the nature of the project? Number of units? Will these be for investment, resale or a combination?

Also roughly where are you located?

typically, the raising of equity against existing properties is best left OUT of the hands of the development funder and done on a "cash out" basis.

thence once has the cash, one uses that to source the land acquisition and build finance

may not apply at all here though since we know nix of the circumstances

Gday @ELYSIANCONSTRUCTION welcome to the forum. You have stumbled across a great community with a wealth of wisdom available. If you want good advice on lending options these members are some of the preeminent finance brokers in the country but you will need to provide more info ie what is your cash and equity position now? How many properties owned currently and what kind of developing you are planning to embark on, where are you hoping to develop etc

    Hi Nick,

There are heaps of great brokers on the forums who can help with this - if you’re looking to develop and sell, be prepared to pay fee for service for this.

If you’re looking to hold you may not need to pay anything out of pocket.
