Any really cheap building insurance recommendations

    Hi there

    We are buying a run down 2 bedroom cottage, valued by council at 40000 and by the lender's valuer at 135000. Our plan is to rent it out for 3 years, demolish the shack and build on the site. It is currently tenanted at 220 a week.

    Currently building insurance quotes range from 400 to 660. I have quotes from Allianz, AAMI and Australian Seniors insurance.

    Any suggestions for a cheaper insurance provider?
