    Hi all,

    Just browsing around QLD and noticed this is passing, any idea what it is?

    Beachmere.JPG

    Is it a development for inland waterfront properties? New Dam? Quarry?

    Its on Bishops rd, just north of Beachmere.

    I've tried to have a search online to no avail.

    @My House QLD?

    Regards,
    Arc

    Mine site (disused?) - do a street view at the corner of pritchard and bishop. There is a sign on the corner.

    Wouldn't be a sewerage treatment facility would it?

    I have seen similar looking sites around Norwell. In that case, it was sand mining.

    I can confirm it is a sand mine. I drive past there all the time to visit relatives. I’m assuming it’s still used but never seen anything to prove this.
