Its a great layout but conditioning wise it has some ways to go at the moment - flooded a few times this year sadly and is a shortened course at the moment. Give it time though and it will come good hopefully!

Understand. I was sick of the wet weather. Winter conditions always a challenge. My son will be playing at pennant hills and Carnarvon junior competition next week and it is likely to be raining.

Both events postponed and probably the mona vale junior open will be postponed too. Is Liverpool under water?

    Yep, flooded again :(

I'd actually decided not to renew my membership due to a few things I've got planned for the next year prior to the rain, but was still sad to see it go under again.

If theres a PC golf event in a few months time I'll be happy to join and chop it up!

Let's plan something. Anyone else besides Peppas and I who are keen? Put your name down here.

It'd be nice to meet you in person Richard seeing as we've only ever met via phone and video call!

Watched the movie “The Phantom of the Open” today - based on the true story of Maurice Flitcroft - a 46 yr old Brit who entered the British Open (@St Andrew’s) in 1975, having never played a round of golf previously.

Subtle British humour, which we enjoyed.

@Peppas and i are planning a weekend hacker trip to a golf course between liverpool and parramatta, say end of August or early September. Any interest?
