How would you spend 400k in Melbourne? Inner city villa/apartment? Outer suburb house? East? West? North? South? Any suggestions?

    Objective:
    • Buy and hold for at least 10 yrs
    • Reasonable capital growth

I am currently looking at houses in outer Northern suburbs.

I am eyeing this one, but haven't had a chance to check it out - won't make it today either (looking at a different area in different price bracket).

If you're free at midday, maybe go check it out and report back :).

Location looks good (near 901 bus to Epp station) and shops nearby.... actually could walk to EPP station.....1.5km, 18 minutes

Looks like you really think Epping has a potential...I went to Albion for an inspection today, but I will go next week.
