Anyone watch the Anita Cobby story the other night on channel 7 ?
    This was very sad stuff.
Blacktown wasnt such a good area in the 80's.
Time has gone quick..i remember thus case when i was a teenager.

Everytime i go past that church at Prospect i think of that poor girl.
I know they done some horrendous things to her like drag her thru a barb wire fence and other things people told me that are far to horrendous to tell.

I dont believe in Capital punishment but for them Murphy brothers i hope they die a bad death.
I think the oldest would be about 64/65 now.

I think Sydneys crime was much worser in the 80's than now actually.

I remember when it happened. Many details still not released.
We've since had the backpackers, Port Arthur and Snowtown. :(

I recorded it and watched it yesterday. I also remember when it happened. I hope they never let them out.

One of them is now 44 (14 at the time). He's trying to get his sentence reduced.

I studied the case for legal studies in high school, was quite disturbing. They were some well ****** people. They'll never get released. I've heard they get a very hard time at prison by the guards which I hope is very true.

To give people an idea of what kind of person the ringleader John Travers was he once bought a sheep, slit it's throat and while it had blood shooting out of its neck and still visibly alive and in pain - he sodomised it.

Then he cooked it on the BBQ for friends.
