    Hi guys,

Currently in development for an app that'll help you with your weekly grocery shopping.
I'm taking Early Access sign ups as we speak and would love to get some feedback from the PC community (many of whom I know are successful entrepreneurs) on the App.

Plan to launch in early to mid June with the first round of testing.

If you'd like to sign up, please do so on our website at www.grocerygetter.com.au

    Cheers!

nice idea. sounds like you're going to scrape their sites for pricing and plan on monetising via a combo of advertising and affiliate income from online orders made on their sites?

a rule of thumb amongst VCs is that they never invest in any idea that relies on a.data sourced via apis and b. affiliate income as the main source of income because both can be cut off at a moment's notice.

if you can strike up a formal agreement with the grocery retailers you might have something.

Great idea for price sensitive people.
Most important factors for me are time and that my grocery list is as undefined and chemical free as possible.
Money has never been an important consideration

    Thanks for the feedback guys!

@charttv Agree about the VC comment. Will be looking to get leverage in order to bring grocery players to the table.

I wish you all the best -
How different will it be to the stable, time tested apps folks at ozbargain.com.au use and recommend ?

    Hi guys,

Our app is currently live on Android and iOS if anyone was keen on giving it a test drive.
    Search “Grocerygetter”

We’ve pivoted a little bit since my initial post last year. We will be monetising the platform through delivery, by bringing the cheapest basket of groceries to your doorstep.

The website is somewhat lacking in information, the store only slightly less so.
