No prizes for spotting all the falsehoods in The Age/Domain ranking of suburb's liveability.

Low crime in Doveton or trams in Deer Park?

If you want errors galore you'll find them here:

Spiderman, I'm ******* myself laughing about 'trams in Deer Park'
Next thing they will be telling us that there are 'deer' in Deer park!:p

I've got to show you this photo of a parking meter in Springvale
For those of us that don't know Melbourne, Springvale is a south-eastern suburb, 23km from the CBD. It is very multicultural
    Guess what's missing? :D

It summed my suburb up pretty well.

The only issue i have is with the emphasis on hills. They make an area less livable for some people.

Does it explain anywhere what the criteria are?

North Frangers is doing unbelievably well! Number 136 overall in Melbourne out of a total of 321 Melbourne suburbs.
    It's beaten suburbs like

    Bulleen
    Doncaster
    Macleod
    Essendon North (!)
    Eaglemont (!)
    Eltham North
    Templestowe
    Wheeler's Hill
    Pascoe Vale
    Ringwood East
    Bentleigh East
    Eltham
    Pascoe Vale South

    Well done, North Frankston!
Fawkner's beaten it though at number 122.
My husband joked that it's because most of its denizens are very quiet and never create any trouble ;)( ~Fawkner cemetery). Kekeke.....

I think you're onto something there, Scott!
From what I heard, Deer Park is selling very well at auctions and fetching high prices. Ask jpcashflow.
Despite its lack of trams, it's no longer the last suburb in the whole of Melbourne to move (as in the last 20 years) Yay! Go the west!
