Mrs car tart and I will be entering our 15th ******* Rally and hope to again win The Highest Fundraisers.

    Anyone else entering this year?
Our 502,000 kilometre pink Tarago has just had an oil change and will do the Sydney to Alice Springs to Gulf Country to Gold Coast to Sydney trip. This is its 8th Box rally event and it has done one Variety Bash.

I don’t know, I bought it with 430,000 for $300 from a crack head with half a dead dog in the back. There’s a guy with a diesel Toyota van and 960,000 on his Hiace.

My Toyota is 22 years old and has literally never broken down. I can’t even find an excuse to upgrade. Die already!

I had a Diahatsu Terrios that was 21 years old. Loved it! I've only just sold it & got a new car, and while the new car has all the bells & whistles I miss the old one.

Mine's got 220Ks on it. SUV and still looks good - I suppose I could bling it by getting black wheels and fixing up the little dents here and there. Will cost me circa $1-1.5K to do that though.

One of the headlights is yellowing as well - could brighten it up for $50 but not a permanent fix.

The acceleration, sound and torque from 0 to 80 is unmatched. Metallic blue or maroon are the colours and the very, easy to read dash board.

They do, and they are rising in value including a base model executive in nice condition. Out of the VN, VP, VR and VS I actually find the VN to look the most authentic whereas the VS is the smoothest to drive but they look a bit blander probably due to how much more common they are. The VP is not so good looking from personal choice, but for an interesting option a Toyota Lexen VN could be a good value option.
