    Hi guys,

One of my regional properties is booming. Property sales have really picked up, they've built a new boarding school, inland rail is coming, they've announced a $100Million abattoir bringing heaps of work into town... Couldn't be happier.

However now the local mill has received huge funding for an Algae Farm. This is state of the art technology, putting QLD on the map and designed to create high protein stock feed (In a town that is agriculture based).... so far so good.

However some of the residents are kicking up a fuss claiming this will smell, create allergies and devalue the houses in town.

    What are your thoughts?

I'd be more worried about the abattoir!

Do you have a url to the technology?

I'd be very surprised if they are open air ponds.....like Qak said abattoir is a bigger issue.
