So I went to my second airbnb property, because its conveniently located and currently vacant so I thought i'd stay there, and also make myself dinner there before I go out tonight. But nobody bought and left me any Oyster sauce... (its only at the other one)... so I ended up whacking tumeric and trying other spices on my vermicelli noodle, lamb and vegie dinner.. :(

(Update.... ended up putting on lemon and pepper seasoning a previous guest left... its quite nice!!) :)

That sucks.....where did they leave it, hidden in and under the carpet.... :p

PS buy it all done by somebody, much easier and more enjoyable ;-) Love vermicelli....going buy some now, thanks !

How incredibly inconsiderate of guests not to leave condiments or sauces.

They don't make guests like they used to.

In one of our airbnb feedback forms, the guests commented, "no salt and pepper available which we needed to put on our pizza". Totally valid point about not having salt and pepper (which we promptly added after) but who puts salt and pepper on their pizza?!

Airbnb sucks. Last weekend went to Nelson Bay and nothing was available apart from a caravan 30 km away. Anyway, I slept in the back seat of my commodore.

Yep, tell me about it. Only a fraction of guests leave me a gift. I've had gifts of flowers, interesting food (the Japanese stuff was interesting) and other bits and pieces from their homelands and elsewhere... also only some of them vacuum and start a load of washing for the sheets and towels* before leaving!
    The nerve...

    * I don't expect them to do this!

I could tell you but I'll have to shoot you...

It's in the icon between the thing that looks like a film strip and camera. :)

Definitely a mixed bag. Saying with interesting people is cool Buying up apartments and killing rental markets is not cool
