    Hi,

Thinking of 'investing' in an air fryer very soon. At the moment considering the Phillips Air Fryer and love the fact that it seems like it can cook anything, healthy, sit and forget and prices are pretty cheap now.

My parents have one of these and certainly love it. Only machone that's allowed on the table. One downsize is that the basket is a little small (particularly when you compare it to the size of the whole unit). The recipes in the user guide also look quite nice.

    Good luck with your choice.

We have the XL size. You need to get the rack too, which is sold separately. Otherwise you don’t have enough cooking space.

It’s reasonably quick and easy. My wife loves it.

    BUY IT!

My work colleague randomly spoke to me about air fryers one day telling me how great they are... that weekend i bought one.

    Its SOOOO awesome!
I use it to reheat my pizza's as well. Keeps it nice and crunchy.
No more waiting 45 mins for meat pies either.
5 min defrost on microwave, then upside down in the airfryer... crispy and hot on the inside.

It was a fraction of the cost. Can do the same functions and more and is a lot bigger. If I had my time over I would have bought one of these instead.

Aldi sells these glass ovens a couple of times a year for about $25.

Not the same as an air fryer.

I’d see if you could ‘borrow’ one for a while and find out how just useful it is.

I did own a Phillips AirFryer XL (and agree with the suggestion of the rack) but ultimately I didn’t use it much for more than doing ‘fried’ chicken legs and my (n=1) experience was that the result wasn’t that much better than roasted in the oven.

A cooking appliance I do rave about is the Breville Fast Slow Cooker - the Fast Slow Pro™

I have had a Phillips one for over a year now and they are great but the handle has fallen off the basket. A screw come out and can't be fixed because of the location. Could have been dangerous if happened when hot and full of food.

But I would probably buy another
