    If you're a member of a club competing you have a chance of getting a ticket. If you're not you can only get with a package. At least, that's the official line from the AFL website.

    When I was young, tickets were very hard to get. You applied for tickets, and your name got put into a draw. Maybe 1 in 20 people got tickets.

    Majority off them go to Melbourne Cricket Club members and corporate sponsors.

    The rest go to members of the clubs playing. There isn't enough for all of them; there's usually a ballot system.

    If you're general public forget it.

    As a Blues suporter I don't think I will need to be looking for GF tickets,if they play out a GF like their past 1 pontes I would be happy..
