    Definitely will be less hassle and faster to have it vacant rather than going to the trouble of finding a short term tenant and then having trades negotiate the timing of Reno's with the tenant having to move items from room to room.

    Side notes; if you haven't got this on your to-do list already mKe sure you get a scrapping report! They are pure GOLD and also make sure you line up the vacancy in line with trades availability. Christmas can be an interesting time to try and get trades in.

    Happy I could help :) Saved me a lot of money last year! Over two renovations I scrapped about $20,000 in tax. A very good return for the few $$ I spent on getting them.
