    Hey,
Need some advice on a couple of areas from people who know Brisbane well, are locals or have been and are not buying. Only reason I'm saying that is because I'm a bit hesitant to show properties to people who are still searching as they may snap them up..Anyone not buying anymore and know Brisbane and its surrounds well and are willing to private message back and forth a bit?

Gday @ej89 I'm pretty much done for this year, probably wouldn't be in a position to buy again until next year (or possibly the end of this year if current BNE performs better than expected) so happy to have a look. Pretty sure @Steven Ryan is done for now and he has completed a heap of research too.

As @Azazel says, I'm done and happy to share my thoughts in private :)

I'm no expert though but did get to know a few pockets pretty well.

I'm not allowed to buy anything until we sell the one at Gladstone, so you are safe here too. I only know the north side though

My wife won't let me buy any more for now... :(

I'm no expert on Brisbane though. If it's Salisbury and the suburbs next door I might know something but that's it...

I'm not buying in Brisbane presently but own a few around the place. I know a few southside suburbs fairly well, but not Logan etc. Its a big geographic area so I would guess most people only know their own areas.

You can message me if you want. As I have said many times in this forum I am out of cash and still love to window shop:)

I must warn you though if I find a great property that I'm not in a position to buy I will post it here first so everyone has a shot. But if you find it and send it to me privately of course I will never tell anyone else about it.

It is. I like how it lacks the bitter undercurrent that most forums have.

I can help with Coorparoo, Camp Hill, Holland Park, Greenslopes and surrounding areas. Not about to buy so I'm no risk to you of snapping up something you've found :).

What are you talking about you idiot stupid head.

    You're all idiot stupid heads.

Screw you all because you have slightly different opinions or I have made incorrect assumptions.

Everyone's dumb and I'm going to call you all dumb because I'm behind a computer and there are no consequences for my attitude.

    ...

Sorry Jaybean thought I'd just add that in case you ever feel like you're missing out on all the great stuff you hear from the other forums...

Very true. It almost seems like a waste to do all of that research and not be able to put it to more use.
Why not help someone out who is looking to buy in the same area if you can.

Ditto @wylie, although I'd be looking for her advice rather than mine.

i don't go north of the river. I hear it's like NSW and you have to drive on the other side of the road. Southside and Ipswich send me a note.

One of my best friends is moving to Greenslopes for work (I loved that area too when I lived close to there (holland park west) so any advice on purchases there would be greatly appreciated

I'm happy to give local advice on houses and suburbs in the northern suburbs. I know the North side quite well particularly Chermside and closer in but I also know all the suburbs stretching out to the sunshine coast I've got around a bit. I'm looking elsewhere I've owned and lived on the Northside (Wavell Heights) for a number of years.
Once I've stopped looking I'm even happy to go take photos etc as I've seen people on here looking at houses a few blocks away from my ppor but at the moment too busy on weekends searching elsewhere but happy to provide advice about streets suburbs and amenities.
