Really? The minimum is 10m frontage and 300sqm per block at the moment correct?

@Lacrim It's a corner block- so it's got 35m of frontage onto the side street, so under the new Planning Code it can fit 3 'row dwellings', which only require 200m sq per block & 7m of frontage each.

Minimum frontages and minimum allotment sizes are changing for lots of suburbs on the 19th March 2021 under the new Planning Code, it's been out for public consultation for ages, if you want to see if any changes affect your property, just type in your address here and explore:
    What is the property address?

Sorry, but you would probably need double that to get into something worthwhile (and 'safe' as per your previous post).

I'll keep my eyes peeled for a $150K house in Adelaide with no asbestos and ideally, renovated

Not planning on selling , just curious . Not seeing much under 300 .

You know that's actually quite cheap.

A house 50kms out in Sydney, say Campbelltown, starts around $600K (and currently heading north). Def no country feel either.

Looks like about $340k now for 5162. Although, it has come off 5.3% in the past month.

It was only last year, i had people picking up renovation-required ones for 230-260k and revaluing them for 300k and we were renting them for 320pw.

Now, there's pretty much nothing under $320k and things are getting multiple offers.

Sometimes I feel like charts don't really capture whats really happening on the ground.

https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-sa-morphett+vale-135330994 As an example, I went to the first home open for this one , on behalf of an interstate buyer prepared to offer a little over the top of the range. The agent told us not to bother as already had 8 offers over our figure. At the open there was literally 100 people there. I was there 10-15 mins early and was already a queue down the street and when we left the property afterwards the queue was still about the same.
