Agree, as former long-term Adl resident I'm pretty cautious about cheering when something is handed back to any level of Govt when private industry couldn't make it work.

That is not correct...the demand for Paralowie is greater.....tenant quality in Paralowie is fine.

I would say Burton is less popular.

Yes, tenant quality in Paralowie is fine. Burton is a bit nicer. Never said anything about it being less popular. Perhaps you should re-read the post?

What are people’s thoughts about Brahma Lodge? Smallish suburb, close to schools, main arterials, parks and Salisbury City Centre.

There's a couple of noticeably different sides of Craigmore. So it depends on what you're after.

The bit west of Blair Park Rd and south of Uley Rd has lots of cheap properties, mostly 60's built - can often buy stuff in the low 2's, with rents in the high 2's. This part is lower socio-econ and the normal problems that come along with that (but definitely a step up from nearby Elizabeth). There's a theory that this part could catch up with the other section.

The bit thats north of Uley Rd is uphill from the other part and has much newer homes, its tough to believe they're the same suburb. Much more owner occupiers in this part so streets are much better kept, homes with price tags for average houses well into the 3's, but even up to the 5's and 6's even for really nice ones with views. Owner occupiers will drive capital growth here, but yield will obviously suffer. Blocks are typically smaller. So again, comes down to each person's preferences.

The rest of Craigmore (eg east of Blair Park Rd and the southern bit) is somewhere in between those 2.

Brahma Lodge is a bit of a weird one. Its a small pocket surrounded by Salisbury suffixes. All the blocks there are perfect rectangular ones, so could be a future development spot maybe. The housing quality seems a little bit lower than Salisbury, as if people don't have a habit of maintaining them much in the area. Tenant quality is probably about the same.

Cheers @D.T. - Yeah I drove through and it seemed like a bit of a mixed bag and the block sizes seem ok. Looks like there’s fairly limited data out there about it too.

Just general info about growth/yield potential. Ideally we’d be looking for something which can be neutrally geared with modest capital growth. It’d be good to look at what the longer term trends have been there
