SA Adelaide Housing Trust Map

All,

I am looking to purchase property as PPOR in Western suburb of Adelaide and looking to find concentration of Housing Trust homes in all suburbs/street.

Is there any map by suburb or street available? I tried Housing SA but didn't got anything from them.

My budget is 550k and looking to be closer to beach and city. Any suggestions for suburb?

I had Morphettville on my list and found there are some new Housing Trust homes built in the area.

Bit of a bump as this came across in one of my searches for something else - I don't believe there is a map showing this.

IIRC you can find the number of trust houses in a suburb via some of the tools like PriceFinder, but that won't show you the specific properties.

With the privatisation of a lot of social housing via things like NRAS - you won't be able to tell easily in the future if this is a concern for you.

 

Semidetached homes is probably something to watch out for, a lot of those were / are state housing. I'd check in street view how many of those there are in the street.

Government has set a budget to each housing trust home though - depending on their condition sometimes this goes further with some properties than others. Some are being tarted up nice, some are being demolished. Usually developers or first homebuyers are buying the land. Generally overall this improves things a lot for that neighbourhood.
