    From the moment you sign the contract you should have building insurance in place - is this true in SA? If anyone can recommend an insurer that would be lovely. Cost is a factor but customer service and reliability is more important. Thanks in advance!

    EBM is my favourite.

    Best to get Building and LL in the same place as each other, then they won't argue over whose responsibility it is when it comes time to claim.

    About $750 p.a for building & LL. Not too bad.
