Has anyone added a carport to their property in the Logan area?

I'm thinking of selling a house in Marsden QLD which is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but currently has no car parking spots as I've demolished the old carport to complete my subdivision. I saw these at Bunnings:

    Absco Sheds 5.5 x 5.5 x 2.25m Zincalume Skillion Roof Double Carport
    Absco Sheds 6 x 6 x 2.25m Gable Roof Double Carport - Zincalume

I'm guessing I could get a handyman to install one of these for around $500 or so?

Does anyone know if I would need council permission for this?

Also, what would it cost to get a slab this size installed? Or would you just get some crushed rock installed there?

    Thanks

"Engineer drawings and design certifications provided for submission to your local council. "
So, I'm going with yes, you will need council permission.
