Cheers, You have lots of horse poop, only kangaroo poop for us unless we get some sheep. Can't decide on a john deere or husqvarna. Will start looking on gumtree.

Is this the same place that you had your righteous rage tanty over? Did you go back and offer more or did they counter?
The land looks lovely. I can't wait to hear more about it after it's unconditional

Lol yep same place. Vendors came to their senses the next morning and signed straight away. Building and pest came back excellent, with the inspector mentioning it's incredible and he's a little jealous. This home is so cool, still can't believe it. Oh, and we negotiated the ride on lawn mower to be part of the deal.

Wooohooo!! The angst and search may all be worth it when you're sitting on your porch surveying your domain :)
Good score with the ride on.

Well, that is the other option, just keep going up till they can't say no.....obviously the B&P won't mean much, unless there is a hidden basket case problem :)

What does this mean ? I get the doing the grass/lawn, but does it also mean you feed it to animals ? If yes, I guess you mean you feed them what they can't get too.

Yeah, I think they were just trying it on to see if you would pony up more, they took a risk, would not have worked well with me.

Anyways, seems like you have done it with minimal aggravation.

OM NOM NOM NOM ALL GRASS GONE WHAT NOW? HOOMAN WILL SORT THAT OUT

Horses have eaten their way through 2 paddocks in a month with the next paddocks not yet fenced. They have been getting hay morninig and night to try to stem the appetite. You cant feed them grass clippings.

Why not ? the Japs feed Aussies less than that in the 40's...lol

On a serious note, if they eat grass in a field, why not the mown clippings ?

Cut grass = no chewing and grinding with teeth = laminitis or bloat with very expensive colic surgery or death the outcome

We recently settled on a new PPOR. Only 1 acre but backs onto a 68 acre block... so bush view without the pricetag :)
