Accountant recommendation

Hi all,

I've started to think about FY22 tax time and decided it's time I get an accountant to lodge my tax for me

Just wondering if you guys have any recommendations for accountants

It will be a fairly straightforward return

• My spouse and my self are PAYG employees, both earn 90k but hope to be under the Medicare levy surcharge when taking into account deductions
• 1 investment purchased during the FY
• Sold some shares during the FY
• claiming working from home deductions

A great accountant is invaluable if you are starting your property investment journey. A great accountant is more than someone that just does your yearly tax.
I have use Keshab Chartered Accountants in Parramatta for the past 12 years. They are amazing.

 

A great property focussed accountant is your best choice. How do you know they know property tax well ?

- They will have a CGT record keeping tool even for your own home !!! Perhaps even some other useful tools like a blended loan calculator etc....
- They dont bill adhoc minor questions
- They are very prominent in property social media etc but dont help sell property
- You speak to qualified property focussed staff only.
