    Lets say:
    1. You wish to purchase some shares in your own name
    2. Funds are to come from an untouched loan split
    3. Any dividends or sales are to go into an offset account
    4. The trading platform is Westpac broking.

Now, Westpac broking will only let you ise one account for the crediting and debiting account for funds. How would you go about the above scenario when you encounter a one account policy from Wetpac? Do you just have one new account setup linked to the trading account and when you make a purchase, you then manually move money into it (from loan split) within the 2 days? And conversely have dividends payed int this same account and manually move them to the offset?

    Any advice appreciated.

Just make sure there is no cash in the account when you park the borrowed money int there.

Generally you can nominate which account you would like dividends paid to, ie it doesn't have to be same account you settle trades from. But it would have to be in same name. After purchase you will get paperwork from share registry, you can nominate from here where you would like dividends to go, or log online to the relevant share registry after purchasing shares.

Dont blend income producing and trades intended to profit
When you sell credit proceeds received on same day OR cost of shares (whichever is least) back to loan
Dont credit divs to the loan credit mortgage on ppor offset

Answer is complex and multi-faceted and involves specific product knowledge, far better to seek professional advice IMO.
