    Most smartphones now include a 2 SIM capability. One is a QR code enabled "esim" and the other the standard SIM chip. eSIMs must be enbaled by the telco and sent to the hadset whether by push or QR code and a PIN. Apple, Samsung and even some dodgy brother models like the Chinese PLA enabled version made by Whereareyou. I found it easier to walk into a store and walked out with it all as I asked.

    Phone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR and later feature Dual SIM with a nano-SIM and an eSIM.

    Whereare you comes dual sim but one of them is reserved for use by the Chinese Govt
