Is this just a speculative comment or do you have an actual reason why selling baby powder will increase their profitability and their intrinsic capital value.

I'm not having a go at you, I just think your "hot tip" looks empty without any further information.

Efficient Market Hypothesis explained as below:

To put it in a simpler way: if there is a wallet on the street (Wall St that is), someone else would have picked it up.

Agreed that it will go over $4 with my conservative estimates but it is already pretty close to that number. Been holding since $1.2, one of the best.

I too have a hot tip:

Star of David acquired Darlinghurst boy in a hostile take over. Darlinghurst boy was then bought out by Liarliar. Soon they will be moving their head office to Lake Munmorah where Moshe will be promoted to CEO.

I've been watching them go from strength to strength, since acquiring a small parcel of them back in August last year. I only wish I had more.

And while people are busy talking 'hot stock tips', can I recommend taking a look at SYR. I'm really a novice when it comes to trading, so I'm sure people will find a reason to shoot me down, but I'd be interested in seeing what people think......

A2 makes me cringe. It is one I researched early extensively last year. Furustratingly I got a little over ambitious with my buy order and the price ran away before I picked the up.

SYR is heavily shorted. Shorters are generally a fun group to play against.

Thanks @BarneyRubble. I clearly need to read more about shorters - I did it as part of some study a few years ago, but haven't really done anything on it since (so it's definitely a case of "in one ear, and out the other").

...and just to confirm that was supposed to say: Shorters are generally NOT a fun group to play against.

Adding a 'not' hasn't changed my interpretation of your original comment, because I still don't understand what that means, anyway (and your comment was fine - it's just my lack of knowledge that's the issue )

I bought into SYR last week or two at about 2.60. I also bought KDR, which has conveniently gone up 20% in a couple of days after their positive court case announcement. I'm still heavily invested in BAT if SYR is of interest to you .

But if we are talking stock tips, spend some time researching NUH. I bought in at 12c and averaged down to 6c. They are now kicking goals and still a bargain IMO. An excellent company.

It's currently a matter of scraping together enough loose change to buy much of anything.

Could be time to cut my losses on the chronic underperformers and get some cash that way, but I always hate the idea of selling at a loss (as Murphy will ensure that anything I sell today will go through the roof tomorrow ).

I've just looked up NUH, only to find out who they are - turns out, it's the company that produces the ear buds that a family member purchased only last week.

Let's just say that we aren't finding the product is living up to our (very hopeful) expectations, and if things don't get better, they'll be going back within the 30-day money back trial period.

I'm not sure if other users are having any more success with them - if their experience is the same as ours, it doesn't bode well for future success. I might see if I can find an impartial customer review site...........
