    This is from Observatory Hill.
    Love this pic!
The colours of early evening, the history, the bridge, the harbour, the (North) Sydney city scape....
Photo stolen from the City of Sydney Facebook page. I just had to share it. Too gorgeous not to!

Oh wow @wombat777. So pretty, love it! I made a powerpoint slide with background music of a Sydney NYE fireworks display a few years ago. I might struggle to find it now but it was amazingly pretty!

One of my cousins got married there last year.
And I liked going to the fitness equipment there... work on my abs and shoulders on my lunch break. (I'm one of those rare gals who can chin up).
However... I havent done it/tried it for a few months now...

Just go for a walk around the harbour - the rocks. It's free. If you don't like walking, you can run. :p

It's a beautiful city. I spend a fair bit of time up there - and each time I'm around the harbour I'm always in awe of how wonderful it is. One of the prettiest cities in the world without a doubt. Certainly up there with Canberra :p

I never get tired of our beautiful city and all it's nook and crannies- so many gorgeous places, walks, beaches, foreshore spots. Recently did Barangaroo with a friend and it's another fabulous and different viewpoint of our world-class harbour :D

Me too. I used to live in Chatswood and work in the city. Going across the bridge on a train on a beautiful day (and that's most days) always brought a smile to my face and I can think I am so lucky to live here.

I also used to work in North Sydney, and could walk down to the water, go to Lavender Bay... Love the Brett and Wendy Whiteley garden.
    A really scenic lunchtime break.

Great picture! Guess I am getting old. I prefer more nature/ mountain areas for some peace and quite.

That's worthy of printing on glass and hanging up. Nice long exposure pic.

I enjoy staring at the harbour and the wonderful scenic view of the city when walking along the harbour. The Vivid Sydney Festival just highlights the beautiful places even more.
