We've passed 900,00 forum posts and 23,800 valid members!

It is 1,923 days (just over 63 months) since we launched.

Total user registrations (including invalid and banned members): 28,727

    It took us:

    • 166 days to reach 200,000 posts, and then another

Our 9th 100,000 was just as fast as our 1st 100,000!!

Overall, we've averaged 213 days per 100,000 - so if we maintain our average, we should hit 1 million posts by the end of April 2021!

What you want to try and get is the post with the ID 1000000 - which is kind of technically the 1 millionth post - but not really because the post ID gets incremented for every post - even if posts are deleted.

If you hover over the Like button on a post (or click on the #<post number> next to the like button) you can see the post ID - for example, your post is # 925115 ... even though we're only just over 900,000 posts overall (which means that over 25,000 posts have been deleted  )

So either way, it's kinda difficult to know exactly which post is number 1,000,000

If the algorithm for counting posts is correct, I have added two posts to the count.

That's a quirk as a result of merging the InvestChat website in with PropertyChat - anyone with an account on InvestChat/InvestEd created before their PropertyChat account now has an earlier join date based on when they joined the other site.

From those stats , it looks like your site is dying a slow and painful death .
The kindest thing you could do Hample , is put it out of its misery and change the name to CovidChat .

It may have looked like it from 100,000 to 700,000, but the trend has reversed (now that people have more time). According to the last data point, it's as popular as ever.

Personally, I don't mind if it's a bit quieter and mainly frequented by regulars and with significantly fewer "Mayfly Users" that ask the same questions in three threads only to disappear a week later (I'm not saying that about all new users obviously, but they definitely exist).

Yeah, that's not what the stats are showing at all.

Indeed, our 9th hundred thousand posts were as fast as our first hundred thousands - and those first ones were when the site was all new and everyone was really excited.

What's more - we're regularly setting new peaks for monthly visitors to the site, so dying is not the word I'd use.

I do note that this is the 2nd time you've had a go at me about the COVID discussions. If you don't like it, you aren't obliged to visit the site. Plenty of other useful things you could find to do with your time.

Most hard core long term members seem to hide their profiles so you can't search their profile, posts or threads. Not sure why, what are they trying to hide? I've noticed some business members who pay $1k+ a year also do the same which makes me distrustful of them

I didn't know you could do that. Are you sure you are not searching incorrectly?
