7 townhouses is not the same as 7 separate lots?

I can't speak to it's price or whether it's feasible but on high density land where you can go 3 storeys then a 100sqm lot can still produce a good design outcome.

It's like a row of terrace houses but turned sideways so there would be lots of common walls but if built well shouldn't be an issue.

My main concern would be finance, end values as it's not cheap to construct something like that and it's Deer Park which is not exactly inner city where people like small funky projects.

I've done a bit of work in the area and seen few of these. The Council is certainly encouraging higher density development like this. Whether or not the marketplace thinks it's a good idea is another question.. as Westy says (in part) - end values might not be there - at least not for some time to come

Somtimes less is more. A quality duplex will be a better option because the price per m² to build compared with the townhouses. As Tufan said the prices you get for these 2 storey reversed living style just won't stack up and you will need alot of money to get this done
