Here is a list of few Excel files some might find it useful.
I got most of them from SS. I tried to keep the original author and their explanation if useful. These usernames are from SS.

Link to Dropbox folder lists all these files. I thought this might be a easier way to update these files. Please email or let me know if you find any other useful files.

    IP HOLDING
    11 IP Calculator.xlsx
    12 IP20HoldingCostsv15.xls
    13 property Portfolio Tracker.xls
    14 IPs_Etax_Sample.xls (added on 22/06/15)
I have added a E-Tax friendly summary sheet It is matter copy & paste from E-tax point of view. You need to create different sheets for each IP as input can be different. It would be easier once you develop your own system. Next year even the inputs can be copy & paste from a RE agent's statement.

    15 2015 Tax Summary v1
This is taken from another post

    BUYING
    21 Investment Viability.xls
    22 Purchase_Inspection_Analysis.xlsx
The PDF was created by 'Property Investor Network'. I created an Excel version out of it.

    23 Real estate investment model (Nov08) HC.xls
24 NRAS Cash Flow Analysis V2.xls

    DEVELOPING
    31 DevelopmentScenarios.xls
    32 duplexConcept.xlsx
This is a little strange one. People with a little imagination might find it useful.
I created this excel to come up with a duplex concept design given multiple restrictions.

    STRATEGY
    41 Required_Asset_to_Retire.xlsx
    42 _20YearPlanV6.xlsx
I have removed the info from the sheets S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound) goal for each category with a column to monitor them to as it is a bit personal.

    OTHER
    51 Personal + SMSF Property Holdings.xls
    52 DomainAuctionResults.zip

Can anyone recommend useful spreadsheets for capturing IP purchase and holding costs / expenses?

I need to start recording the expenses and organise receipts in a manner that will make it easy for my accountant.

I may be doing something wrong but I get a password request for the "42 _20YearPlanV6.xlsx" file. There's no mention of a password in the original thread, here, or in Dropbox.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks
