QLD 30 year historical growth - Maroochydore apartment examples

    This 1985 TV commercial contains an ad spruiking Maroochydore apartments - slashed from $250k (a massive amount back then which could have bought several capital city houses) to $99k or $120k average (a still large amount).



    (imagine the negative equity the $250k buyers would have had for years to come!)

    30 years on these appear to be ads of the same complex

    3/70 Alexandra Pde, Maroochydore, Qld 4558 - Property Details $390k

    1/70-78 'SUNDECK GARDENS' ALEXANDRA PARADE, Maroochydore - Report, Sold Price $590k

    Even $120k - 590k is a very low growth rate relative to other property.

    Later on in the same video (around 11 min) was an ad for 'Capricornia' in Broadbeach. Again from $99k.
