Thoughts on the value of this property? shorturl.at/wyK56 It's a 3 bed semi with 1.5 bathrooms & plenty of room down the side of the house for parking. On a main road but double brick so you don't hear anything inside the house. Currently under contract. Given the current market & where people see the market going in 6-12 months, keen to get an idea of any thoughts on the value.

Ahhhh. I would suppose it’s a reasonable entry to the Maroubra market, a semi is ok, glad you have land content and 1.387m isn’t particularly a high or low figure in my opinion. I don’t follow home prices in the Eastern suburbs closely though.
Congratulations! I think it's a reasonable price in near to a lot of very 'lifestyle' areas. Bunnerong Rd isn't the busiest rd in the area, but the lifestyle it offers should be great! Good on you!
Cheers, we are planning to renovate it over the next 12 months or so and should be able to do this with minimal labour costs for some of the trades. We got it a little below market value at the time and plan to keep it for many years so will weather whatever dips the market sees.
Thanks! Yeh when you're inside the house, you don't hear any of the traffic as it's a double brick home. We saw the benefits of being close enough to the CBD, 5 min drive from the beach & walking distance to shops plus the potential to add value by renovating. Currently in an apartment in Waterloo so it will be quite different to what I've been used to for the last 8 years of apartment living.
At the moment we are 'working from home' but having a real garden is just the best part. Flowers and vegetables... use my duty dishwater to stop things drying out! I hope this helps
