It's off again last night. I'm concidering dumping iota and putting it in xrb. It's not even on a major exchange yet.

Dumping IOTA? Could you dump something else? IOTA is like the crypto equivalent if a blue chip. And right now it's cheap. By all means go and speculate but I'd be trying to buy IOTA rather than sell it.

Anyone who thinks crypto in its current form will replace fiat need their heads read. I have been waiting over 48h for btc, 12 for ripple and 8 for iota to process over the last two days.

Isn’t the market cap calculated from all the coins in circulation. I don’t think these extra coins are calculated as being in circulation.

How long does your average bank transfer take though?

Well they aren't considered in circulation (by this website), but they are owned or allocated to the lead organisation and are in existence.

If exclude those held by or allocated to Ripple, why wouldn't you exclude those held by the IOTA Foundation or those originally mined by Satoshi Nakamoto?

Do you exclude shares held in escrow for directors of a company from the market cap? Of course not.

XRB has been increasing at 30% a day for the last four days, thats on-top of a huge month. they have moved from 18th to 14th position MC in two days. They are due a correction however they will be top 10 coin very soon.

One really needs to do their homework before speculating on some cryptos.
There are so many coins out there with new ones coming out everyday all being hyped.
Sure there are some nice profits to be had if you can get in on the ground floor, but you really are only gambling on top of gambling.
Plenty of growth to be had in the top 5 and solid recognised coins.
And until some of these projets actually start doing things in the real world it’s all subject to massive swings based on speculation.

What do you guys think of Siacoin? The technology seems really cool, it's like Airbnb for your computer. What it lacks right now is the marketing and backing by big names. Got great potential and what looks like a decent roadmap, but I wonder how they're going to be break into say the top 25 on coinmarketcap. Long term (1-2 year) investment IMO. I'm going to HODL on this one.
