    After not selling MUS at the right time, I cleared out a bunch of stuff that had done adequately. I bought PLS at 0.48, sold at 0.93. So satisfied with that - and its not like I had much of it anyway...

    Cheers,

    That's some nice growth - you'd have to be happy with that. I bought in at 0.85, so I'm still hoping and waiting for a bit more upward movement yet.

    Yep!
    Bought LVH at the end of July for 60 cents. Now at $1.38. I sold 16% of my holding today.

    Made 30% gain on MUS and a loss on NUH though. NUH was going nowhere and MUS went up.... then down. Screenshot_2018-01-03-21-00-58.png

    Yesterday, I have sold all PLS at $1.2. I needed the funds. However, I think it will slowly go higher and higher. They are huge and started producing.

    My PLS is long term, as is KDR at this stage

    NUH is still a no-brainer with current TA/FA. I would buy if I weren't fully loaded. New products expected any day

    @Bran @Gockie @devank

    There was a reference of "Penny Stocks" in Wolf of Wall Street Movie. I am curious to know how do you selct these?- perform a search using various filters and then look into the details of the companies that comes up in your result and check the pipeline plans etc ?

    I don't have the knowledge or interest in reading up all that. I use my trusted friends and then use my gut feel :eek:

    Mine was just something I read about in a newspaper then I checked out the share price trend. Figured it was a very nice looking trend, and the idea behind the business sounded like it could be hugely disruptive.

    Wow! My NUH is positive for the first time in a long while!

    Still thinking I might sell and top up my ETFs though...

    I've been holding NUH for quite a long time - because I paid $0.10 for them, yesterday's growth still hasn't seen my parcel head into positive territory. There have been a number of times where I've been tempted to sell, and just cut my losses, but I still hear so much positive talk about them on here, so I figured that, while I don't need the $ for anything else, I'll just wait it out for a bit and see what happens.

    As for FMG - I've held a very small (minimum trade size) parcel of these for some time. Each time I look at my overall portfolio stats, I keep telling myself that I wish I held more, as they are the biggest dividend payers, for sure. So, mid last week, I committed a bit more to them through the SMSF (I have never bought the same shares in my personal portfolio, and the SMSF, as a way of diversifying), but I still kept thinking about those dividends. Although the research is pointing to both dividends getting smaller over the next few years, I still think it's good $$$. I might look at selling them in a few years if they are no longer a big payer.
