How have investors been going with rental increases? I haven't risen in 2 years, but just looked at our Jesmond 2 bedder as lease is coming up and looks like there has been a 10% rise comparing to others listed.

Love the way Newcastle is changing. Such great places to eat/ drink. Top
vibe. Fantastic beaches. I just can't justify investing there at the moment though. Surely it's top of cycle? I can buy in metro Melbourne cheaper than I can Newcastle. Wish I had put some money into Newey rather going so hard in BNE. Next cycle....

Wickham ranked #1 of Top 100 for 2017 in YIP mag. Already moved a lot, but the guru's obviously see more growth.

Wickham is crazy. Townhouses in excess of $750k.

To summarise... prices in sydney is too expensive, people should be investing in newcastle instead. Major reason is that big infrastructures being injected into the city, which is bringing more jobs and people. Hence, property prices in newcastle will be booming...
