I am a 23 year old that currently has a PPoR and one investment property that is positive cashflow both properties are in Newcastle as that's where I'm from they are held in a joint name with my partner and self managed, very keen on investing further possibly in other markets and would like some mentorship in strategy and financial arrangements:):)

Thanks Tony, a bit of blind luck previously but have been researching intently. Purchased first property last September as investment and second this May already made a good CG on both but looking to gain some CF+ stuff to allow me to depend less on my current income for serviceability.

    Welcome to the forums :)

What kind of mentorship are you after? If it's the finance side, there's lots of brokers here who can help you, and often they will be able to advise on the best strategy to suit you moving forward as well.

Thanks Jess, I am looking a financial structure. Benefits of trusts or companies rather then holding in name and land tax minimization strategy. I will continue to read and ask question  Some very established investors on here.

Just had a look at Terry's tips, definitely will read further plenty of tricks in there ;) What area are you invested @BKRinvesting and what property style? I have had offers from a developer on my PPOR as it has the ability to build 2x townhouses and retain the house.

Currently in western Sydney and Blue mountains. Next move will be interstate I'd say.
Houses and townhouses so far. Looking to stay the same - I prefer them over units. Adds a uniqueness and land content :)

Yes I prefer to buy on a decent block with a solid house with room for renovation or additional dwellings give a lot more upside. How is the blue mountains market? Newcastle and central coast is very hot at the moment off the back of the large Sydney gains

    Well done.

Don't think I had $1k in the bank at 23.

    Cheers

It's had some good gains over the last 12-18 months - not sure how it's travelling this spring though - I think it may be rounding off.

Nice work @Rickmuz - most guys at 23 have nothing but a drinking problem ;)

Off to a great start. Keep reading and posting here. You'll do big things!

    :)

Gold Coast houses are very hot.

Brisbane hot in many pockets and pretty tame in others.

Logan still has some great opportunities but they are becoming much harder to find without a Buyers Agent or flying up every weekend/making offers sight unseen.
