Disappointed for Haddin and not the way to go about it.

There is not that much difference between the two - they had to do it before the 1st Test or wait until the end of the series (or form).

Aussies are batting - important day ahead (and a long evening).

Warner LBW. Andersons creating some trouble ATM. Was that sidle that sat next to Haddin? Would love to see him bowl again.

What a series this is turning out to be - momentum switching dramatically every test.

The Aussie batting did not look to be up to it in typical English conditions.

Exactly. We struggle if the ball is moving about a bit, because they all play with such hard hands. All except Chris Rogers, that is.

Clarke looks horribly out of sorts, it's like he didn't see the one that bowled him, or at least he saw it late. It's been a long time since he made a decent score. Probably the first test last summer, on a very flat Adelaide pitch.

Also, the problem with picking an all rounder at 6 is fine if he comes in at 4 for 250, but at 4 for 50 it's a whole different story. Mitch Marsh's batting is not test standard, he only averages 30 in first class cricket. He had a few good warm up games, but test cricket is a whole new ball game.

He lasted three balls in the first innings, and was lucky to last that long. With our shaky batting, we are better off picking a pure batsman at 6. (Just not Watto)

Any opinions on the series result ?

A bit too late for a poll, but I'm going for a 2-2 draw with the Aussies retaining the urn.

@Tonibell I don't know but the Aussies must not panic. Will catch the game after Mary Poppins tonight.

Jimmy Anderson s injury is a real problem for England. Dunno if they can win the series without him.

    Been surfing between the two.

Good fit by the Aussies - 120 could still be an interesting chase.

Hopefully a longer event this time.

Travelling for work and have a ticket for day 4.

Prediction - Aussie batsmen to come good this test against a weakened attack.

I think Jimmy's gone for the series - Wood back in.

Otherwise both teams likely to be unchanged.

This was Voges home ground so can see him staying and doing well.
